What would you do?
If you were in a relationship for over 15 years and you found out that your mate cheated on you, would you stay or would you go? If you stay what would be your reasons? If you go what would be your reasons?
What would i do, not too sure. For some it depends on the foundation of the relationship to start with, the relationship maybe able to over come something as such and then again this maybe the one thing that allows both parties to leave w/o too much drama.
i have been in a relationship for 8 years and 4 of them were cheater filled.we all say from afar when it is someone elses problem that we would do different but when it is your family and yoy have broken bread so to speak with this person as far as paying bills a home children etc. you tend to want to preserve what you have established.so i stayed.i keep it quiet but it was killing me softly and lets be honest when it is a woman cheating on you you as a man are more disturbed sexually by the whole notion.we think only about what the other man did doing or has done sexually.the notion is not true about the saying we forgive but don't forget because to honest we really don't do it that way. we actually just cope with it.pure happiness requires a certain selfishness a self preservation if you will so usually it is best that you get while you can.
WOW Bryant, I truly appreciate that comment, so by going through that does that leave a bitter taste in your mouth and not want to be in a committed realtionship again or that was just a lesson learned and you continue on your journey to find that one true love that wont even think about going out there?

ReplyDelete15 yrs is a long time to invest in a individual to just walk away, but we live in a time where change is a norm.
ReplyDeleteTHAT IS SO TRUE, THE QUESTION IS NOT ONLY WOULD YOU BUT HOW COULD YOU IF YOU HAVE SO MUCH TIME INVESTED IN THE RELATIONSHIP?
